A design study for a new connector type

This was a mechanical study for a connector that would be used for outdoor wear. The concept was to integrate the connector into gear such that electrical power could be distributed across the wearer’s body. For example, a snowboarding backpack that had a battery would connect to a jacket to power a phone charger and then connect to gloves and boots to run hand and foot warmers.
